In One Office with WW
► "It's a wolf ... it's a wolf ... it's a wolf," in a child's voice. That was the first reaction when I told my wife and my friends that the name of my new boss was Mr. Wolf.
► When WW (abbreviation of Willem Wolf) was once abroad, Mr. Piet de Wildt was sent by the Head Office in the Nethelands to look after Jakarta office temporarily. Someone from another consultancy Company phoned us. Frida, the telephonist explained that Mr. Piet de Wildt was in charge at the moment. The caller misheard the explanation and then responded :"It makes alot of sense, Frida. Last week your boss was a wolf, today your boss is wild."
► I wonder in what language they will speak when Mr Wolf of Euroconsult meets Mr Fox of ADB.
► When WW was in Africa, one of his favourite local foods was scrambled crocodile egg. I hope this food didn't have a bad influence on him. I would suggest to him that he should have some oyster to compensate for this bad influence. But, talking about seafood, he prefers bawal fish.
► WW also spent some time in Egypt, so he knows a little Arabic. Now, when he gets angry with someone, his favourite curse is : "Allah will burn his house." (in Arabic)
► WW was in hospital for some time in1995. After that, he was nicer than before I was wondering, perhaps he got enlightened : a very bright light may have come to him whn he was on the operation table, saying :"Hi Willem, be nice to your employees in Indonesia."
(This writing was published as an article in the Interface, i.e. Euroconsult's company magaziner. It was in the special edition in 1995 to celebrate Mr. Willem Wolf's 20 years service in Jakarta Office of Euroconault)
